Office of Secure Transportation Support
Service Contract Valued At $95 Million
ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO. Innovative Technology Partnerships, LLC (ITP) is pleased to announce that the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) has selected ITP for award of the Office of Secure Transportation (OST) Support Service Contract.
OST is the nation’s Secure Transportation Asset, responsible for the safe and secure transport of nuclear weapons, special nuclear materials, and weapons components between production facilities and Department of Defense facilities via surface and air modes of transportation by Federal Agents. It is headquartered at NNSA’s Service Center on Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with operations at several other locations around the country.
ITP will provide a wide range of support services to OST in support of their Office of Training and Logistics, including logistics, training and exercise support for the Transportation Safeguards Training Site located in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas, and a newly created training venue located at the Nevada Test Site, as well as at Federal Agent Command locations in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Amarillo, Texas; and Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
ITP will be assisted in this effort by two subcontractor/team members: WSI of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc., of San Diego California.
The total value of the five year contract, if all options are exercised, is estimated to be $95 million dollars. The contract will require approximately 144 full time personnel and 134 part time positions, with about 130 personnel residing in New Mexico. The effective start date of the contract is November 1, 2009.
